We got into Cologne, Germany at about 6am and then took another train to Aachen, the city Mark lives in. We crashed at his place the second we got in the door. We all slept on the train but it was not the best sleep. The train stopped pretty frequently and the doors and people moving around kept me awake alot. Needless to say, after our nap at Mark's we woke up and were ready to sightsee around Aachen with our personal tour guide. We met his girlfriend Daniela for the first time and all had lunch together. We then decided to do the one hour hike up a hill to "Three Country Point" This is where Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands all meet in the middle of the countryside. It was an awesome hike through a forest and rolling green hills. At the point we stopped in at a cafe and had Leffe beers overlooking the Belgium countryside. It was great. The weather held out for us today and only sprinkled on our hike back.

We went to dinner in Aachen at one of Mark's favorite Turkish restaurants. Apparently, there are alot of Turkish restaurants here. It was AMAZING! We feasted again and had all kinds of meats, dips, etc. We're stuffed. Now that we're at Mark's apartment, the good news is that we have a reliable internet connection and we'll be able to BLOG!
Wow, everything is very green! Anxious to hear about Prague...
